Hello,
my name is Harlee Ballard. I am currently a Grad school student in Brooklyn
College majoring in Special Education. I work as a Habilitation Specialist for
United Cerebral Palsy of NYC.I was born to be a leader in my community and I feel
teaching is the perfect opportunity to start/begin to reach the “at risk”
minorities, preferably black and Hispanic males. My hobbies include listening
to music, watching documentaries, watching sports and learning more about
history and humanity. I plan to continue to help less fortunate and developmentally
disabled individuals educate themselves. I plan to use the profession of
Teaching as a tool to touch the lives of individuals who are not exposed to the
possibilities the world has to offer.
